Solitary Shelter

Model making process

1. 3 inch diameter PVC pipe as the tree’s main structure to hold the shelter. â€‹

2. Cut off the opening and entrance on the pvc pipe.

3. Create the magnetic cap for the opening using modelling board and magnet.

4. Create shelter’s wall and roof.

5. Create an opening for entrance purpose.

6. Cut off part of the wall to create an opening for door.

7. Create stair case using super glue to harden the rope.

8. Spray paint session, wrap and spray.

9. Complete lower part of the tree and test the magnetic painted cap (close and open).

10. Layer 1 : Butter paper to create the

                      volumn the tree’s lower part.

        

Materials selection (Why?) :

Butter paper softer than most of the paper and able to create texture 

11. Use masking tape to hold the butter paper on place and create some texture as well.

12. Layer 2 : Mix Pva glue with water and stick tissue paper on it to create more texture  and cover the unnecessary small hole. 

13. Tree branch : Same procedure as the bottom part.

14. Use hot glue gun to create the texture for the tree trunk.
